The Dark Side of War – Repatriation

These photos are – as can be seen easily from flags on the coffins – from Canada. Many thanks to Cboy Junkie, an active and cherished reader of Special Forces, for sending me the images. These photos are very powerful, and truly show one of the hardest tasks for any soldier: bringing a comrade home, draped with a flag. I know, because Mr Marquesate did this duty as well.

    Thank You Marq and cb_junkie for the emotion laden pics. Although sad I am a proud Canadian also when I think of these men and the ones they are sending home to thier loved ones.
